BENEFITS OF HOME STAGING

By Jo Morrow - Marketing

When it comes time to sell your home, there are often so many aspects to consider but one of the most important is how you will present your property for sale. After all, you need to be attracting the right kind of buyers to your home in order to get the right price.

You only have one chance to stand out – With today’s competitive and fast-growing housing market, first impressions count, and staging has been proven as the most effective way to present your home.

Instant appeal – A well-staged home attracts more potential buyers to your property’s listing. Staged homes also allow buyers to better visualise themselves in the space which means they’re happy to overlook minor issues because they’ve already fallen head-over-heels for your home. These factors combine to result in increased competition and urgency between buyers.

Highlights the strengths of the property – As professionals, we are super experienced and know how to really get the best out of every room. Should your home be a little on the small side, we will stage your home in a way to show openness by creating thoroughfares and removing clutter from spaces. We give every room of your property a clear purpose, taking all the guesswork out of it for the buyer. Once they can see how the space should be used, they’re less likely to get hung up on a strange layout or a poorly placed electrical output, which increases their chance of buying the place.

Create an emotional attachment – A home not a house Our aim is to create a home that a potential owner relates with. They should feel as if they want to be the owner and not just a guest. The deciding factor is an emotional response to the property and whether they can see themselves living there. The cleaner, warmer, tidier, brighter, more spacious and more inviting the property, the likelier a home buyer is able to imagine it as their home.
