We're the Kings of Bayview - Joe, Andy & Liz - a team of marketers and negotiators who dedicate their working days (and most nights) to helping homeowners get the most for their homes. Our name derives from where it all started. We love Bayview and sell plenty there, however as our team has expanded, so have our offerings. We now work for clients right across the Shore.

Our team consists of folk from all backgrounds and cultures - some speak just English, some speak Chinese too and at least one of us has a primary school understanding of French...Bonjour!

Joe Hurn

Joe was in born and raised in Essex, England. A school leaver at 16, he landed his first job making tea for the area’s top Real Estate professionals. Into adulthood, he studied the craft of property sales - mastering the arts of creating killer marketing campaigns, through to negotiating and closing the final deal. He still makes an awesome brew.

Leaving the UK in 2012, Joe and his wife settled into life on the North Shore of Auckland. After finding his feet, Joe co-founded the Kings of Bayview team with a clear mission statement – Provide homeowners with an unparalleled and unbeatable Real Estate experience.

An embittered Tottenham Hotspur football fan, Joe claims to have two women in his life - his gorgeous wife Loreley and his beloved Triumph Bonneville motorcycle. He refuses to pick a favourite.

Liz Mole

As a busy mother of 3 kids, Liz knows how to organise and prioritise, ensuring the team and her clients are kept in check. Liz grew up in London, but moved to NZ 15 years ago with her husband and family after falling in love with the North Shore. For the past 14 years, Liz has run her own online baby business but she has recently ‘spat the dummy’ and decided to go back to her other true passion: real estate.

Not a stranger to property, whilst Liz was in the UK she built up an impressive Investment property portfolio. Her love of real estate coupled with having 2 teenagers and a toddler has meant her negotiation skills are second to none: secretly Andy is a little scared of Liz. Liz is trustworthy and honest: sometimes a little too straight talking, but when the majority of her clients end up as friends, it seems most people like this approach. Liz loves to match buyers and sellers to their future homes, being a real estate agent is Liz’s ideal role as she loves to chat and is a little nosey too.

Andy Ling

Andy hails from Hefei, China – 400 km’s west of Shanghai. He studied International Economics & Trade at University before reaching Auckland’s shores in 2004. His first job in NZ was making dumplings for $5 an hour – not exactly the Kiwi lifestyle he’d been dreaming of. 10 years on and Andy was a King! Not of New Zealand, but of Bayview – having co-founded the Kings of Bayview team.

Married to Jamie who together have 3 young children, Andy lives in Pemberton Ave – meaning he spends day and night in Bayview. He’s occasionally let out of the suburb for good behavior. Speaking fluent Mandarin, as well as being a well practiced and well connected negotiator, Andy’s passion is helping NZ’s ever-growing Chinese-born residents buy and sell property here in Auckland – a community that in 2016 made up over 60% of our buyers in Bayview.

Andy’s favourite band is the 1990’s Irish rock group ‘The Cranberries’. No-one knows why.

Elaine Hart
